The Frost Moon of May in the Southern Hemisphere

The Frost Moon is the name given to the Full Moon of May, in the Southern Hemisphere. As the cold starts to creep in and we near the end of Autumn and the beginning of Winter.

This Full Moon is in Scorpio on the 13th of May 2025, which invites you to reveal hidden truths which may be confrontational and shed unwanted aspects of self and embrace change.

I have personally felt some huge mental shifts in the past few days and gone deeper into my shadow self than ever before. I’ve confronted my limiting beliefs and behaviours and been called to finally work through them for the greater good. It has been intense, painful and exhausting emotionally but tomorrow is a new day and I’m ready for a new beginning.

I made this Frost Moon Candle with a thin layer of white beeswax covering the green to represent the first frosts creeping over the grass.
