The Camellia candle is perfect for your Imbolc altar, as it is an early blooming Spring flower. Available in it's natural colours pink and white or plain golden beeswax.
Camellia flowers are widely recognised for representing love and affection, often given as a romantic gesture. In China camellias represent loyalty and faithfulness in relationships and are also a symbol of good luck. White camellias are commonly associated with purity and innocence and are used in mourning ceremonies to honour the deceased.
Candle Colour Meanings:
Pink - Pink candles are often used to enhance love, self confidence, compassion and emotional healing.
Yellow - Symbolises joy, happiness, and intellect. Yellow candles are often lit to attract positivity, enhance communication and promote mental clarity. Yellow is also associated with creativity, success and achievement.
White - Symbolises purity, clarity and spiritual enlightenment. Can represent a clean slate for spiritual practices and evoke a sense of peace and serenity, creating a calming atmosphere. Helps with spiritual awakenings, connecting with the divine and higher consciousness. Used in rituals for cleansing negative energies and promoting healing. In some cultures, white candles are used to honour the departed and pray for their eternal rest. White candles can always be used as a substitute for any other colour in your spiritual practices.
