This is a PRE-ORDER for a physical printed copy of the calendar, which also includes a PDF digital download version that you recieve instantly to use in the meantime. The physical copy will be sent once I have received samples and found the best option for professional printing. I am not sure how long this will take as it depends on how fast the printing company is at getting them to me. But I wanted to give you the option to to be able to start using the calendar when it starts on the 15th of June 2026 with the Super New Moon. The digital download comes with a full colour PDF and a black and white version.
Feel free to just buy the digital download on it's own for $12.99 and print it yourself at home or at your local printshop.
Finally it's here! The calendar we've been dreaming of for years! All your accurate seasonal celebration dates in New Zealand time, with Full Moon names specifically for the Southern Hemisphere.
Thirteen Moons instead of twelve uneven months, so that you feel more in tune with the lunar cycles instead of the Gregorian calendar that is deliberately out of touch with nature.
Know when each season truly starts according to the ancient cross-quarter festivals that fall halfway between the Solstices and Equinoxes.
Make important plans around the Mercury Retrograde phases so you can take extra care with communication, avoid conflict and technical glitches.
If the holidays have always felt backwards to you, being in the Southern Hemisphere why not try creating your own traditions? Celebrate The 12 Days of Yuletide, the New Year at the Winter Solstice with the return of the Sun after the Longest Night, Litha - The Summer Solstice at Christmas time, Samhain in Autumn instead of Halloween in Spring and Ostara - The Spring Equinox instead of Easter in Autumn.
Add your own special events, after all this is your calendar!
Calendar Features:
- Southern Hemisphere Wheel of the Year dates - traditional and astronomically accurate times (NZST).
- 13 Moons instead of 12 months - with each lunar cycle starting on the New Moon.
- Full Moon names specifically for the Southern Hemisphere. Each lunar month is named after the Full Moon during that cycle.
- Seasons starts - including early (cross-quarter Wheel of the Year festivals), meteorological (1st of the month containing the Solstice or Equinox) and astronomical (on the exact date of the Solstices or Equinoxes).
- Phonetic pronunciation of each festival name.
- Prompts on how to celebrate the seasons on each page.
- The 12 Days of Solstice suggested.
- First and Third Quarter Moons.
- Supermoons, Micromoons and Eclipses.
- Mercury Retrograde phases.
- All standard New Zealand public holidays.
This calendar was created entirely by a human (no AI used), with love and from personal experience of celebrating the seasons in the Southern Hemisphere. Photos are of seasonal altars with my own handmade beeswax candles, designed for each Wheel of the Year festival. I wish I had this resource when I started out, that's why I've created it alongside my ebook guide which goes more in depth on each seasonal festival. I plan on releasing a new calendar every six months, so the Summer Solstice Edition, will go from December 2026-December 2027.
